Rachael Ray

I watched the Rachael Ray Show today. She showed a recipe today that I decided to make for dinner. It is Yum -O!!. It does have the taste of a a Bloody Mary . I will make this again.

Sliced Steak Salad with Bloody Mary Vinaigrette

Ingredients

For the Vinaigrette:
2 tablespoons tomato paste
Juice of 1 small lemon
1 scant tablespoon prepared horseradish
About 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
About 1/2 cup EVOO – Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tablespoon finely chopped-flat leaf parsley
Lots of black pepper
Tabasco sauce, to taste, (optional)
For the Salad:
1 romaine heart, chopped
1 endive, chopped
4 small stalks celery, thinly sliced on an angle
1 1/2 pound 1-inch-thick flatiron or flank steak
Salt and pepper
Caperberries or sliced large green olives with pimiento, for garnish

Yields: Serves 4

I have been sick . Had to go to immediate care ;0( I have another sinus infection .I went to Target to fill my 3 prescription . I had to wait 45 min. to get them filled . That means i had to shop . I found this lamp for my son Christian's room.It was only $4.24.


The shade is a dark blue and white


The light bulb i bought cost more.


This frame was only $1.98


Loved the caption .I have not decide if i will put my Husband or one of my sons pic. in it .


This was my last find .The regular price was $9.98 I paid $2.48	. .

One of my favorite cookbooks is: Now eat This! Rocco Dispirito.
Tonight i made one of our favorites Salmon with mustard crust and sauteed spinach. Yum!

Easy to make and healthy.Only 242 calories too.
Here is the finished product .Yum!

Hobby Lobby

Went to Hobby Lobby today. Needed to pick up some pom poms for Easter project #2 .

To make this project you need disposable cake decorating bags ,ribbon ,Easter stamps and candy . I filled my bag with M&M candy. You could use orange jelly beans to make it look like a carrot. Stamped my Easter greeting and bunny & added mini pom pom for tail .Tied it with a pretty ribbon . Cute and easy to make .

While i was at Hobby Lobby i spotted a 80% off sign. Went to see what they had. I was not planning to find a thing but, it was my lucky day.:0)

I found this :0) for the great price of $2.99

It was originally $29.99.

I checked for cracks & chips

It was perfect . I could not believe it . I am planning on doing my master bath

in animal print . I figured i could use this for something. I will be checking out the 80% off area more often.

Easter project


EASTER BUNNY NUGGETS

Started on some of my Easter projects . These are so easy to make .

What you need : Hershey Nuggets candy, small white pom poms, pink marker, black stamp pad , sheet of card stock (any color or design you like) adhesive and bunny head stamp. I bought this one at Micheal's arts and crafts store.Instructions: Just cut a strip of paper to fit around nugget .Stamp a bunny head, color in nose and ears with pink marker. Glue pom pom to one end and bunny head to the other end . You have a cute little bunny nugget.

Went to my 33rd Bon Jovi concert on Tuesday night .It was great as always . I was lucky enough to have hooked up with friends Kerry and Stan . They had backstage access passes. They were kind enough to let me use their pass.I was able to go into Richie Sambora's quick fix dressing room .I did not get the meet the band ;0( .I know one day i will .
